Participation in any For the Culture training or range activity requires strict adherence to the following safety rules. These standards exist to protect you, those around you, and the integrity of the environment.

 

CORE SAFETY PRINCIPLES

All participants must follow these foundational rules at all times:

• Treat every firearm as if it is loaded

• Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy

• Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire

• Be sure of your target and what is beyond it

 

RANGE SAFETY RULES

By participating, I agree to the following:

• I will follow all instructions from instructors and range staff immediately

• I will only handle firearms when authorized

• I will keep firearms pointed in a safe direction at all times

• I will keep my finger off the trigger unless actively engaging a target

• I will use only the correct ammunition for my firearm

• I will immediately report any unsafe condition or malfunction

• I will not engage in unsafe behavior or distractions on the range

• I understand that safety violations may result in immediate removal

 

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

• I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own actions and safety

• I understand that firearms require discipline, awareness, and control

• I agree to conduct myself in a respectful and professional manner

 

PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR

I understand that the following are strictly prohibited:

• Handling firearms under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• Horseplay, negligence, or reckless behavior

• Ignoring instructor commands or safety procedures

• Unsafe handling of firearms at any time

 

FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

• I have read and fully understand all Range & Firearms Safety Rules

• I agree to follow all safety standards at all times

• I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from training or events
