FTC offers affordable private lessons, perfect for individuals or small groups. Our private instructions are individual lessons for 1st time or “newer” handgun or rifle shooters who are looking for private “1-ON-1” or small group instruction. This class will help you acquire a foundation of knowledge, skills, and confidence. Student will learn the basics of shooting disciplines, safety, loading & unloading, sight alignment, trigger control, sight picture, and drawing and firing from a holster. You will be sure to leave with greater confidence, improved skills, and the ability to apply what is learned.

 

We can also customize your learning experience and ensure you're getting the best instruction for your shooting capabilities.

 

Private Classroom Instruction Topics:

1. Basic operation & parts of a pistol (cleaning discussion included)

2. Loading, unloading, and storage

3. The Basics – grip, aiming, stance, breathing, trigger control, and follow-through.

4. Firearm Safety and proper gun etiquette

5. Questions and open discussion

Requirements

1. You must be over 18 years old. Children under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian on premises.

2. You must have a valid FOID, state ID, passport, or driver's license with you.

3. You must have at least a basic understanding of English for safety reasons.
